When Ashton is not at the racetrack, you can find her enjoying time at home with her husband, Jonathan, where together they play pickleball, run half-marathons, CrossFit, watersports and spend time with their four dogs and two cats.

Outside of driving, Ashton works for Harrison Contracting with Operation support, including managing high-end equipment and travel schedules and is the Team Leader for the Health & Wellness program at HCC.

When she is not racing or working at HCC, Ashton works full-time on her physical training and with a sports psychologists throughout the race season to stay prepared for her job as a racing driver.

Ashton also works with young drivers and women on their racing journey which involves trackside coaching, mentorship and guidance for their next step in motorsports.

Ashton caught the need for speed at 16 years old and hasn't looked back since. Starting at the Bondurant Racing School, moving to Spec Miata then into Global Mazda MX-5 Cup, onto Lamborghini Super Trofeo with Wayne Taylor Racing where she spent 4 seasons and in 2021 Ashton transitioned into full-time GT3 racing with Honda Performance Development as a Junior Factory Driver (the only female junior driver in history for HPD) and made her debut at the infamous IMSA WeatherTech 12 Hours of Sebring with Racers Edge Motorsports with Wayne Taylor Racing in the original Red Harrison Contracting livery where they finished P8 in their IMSA GT3 debut. In 2022, Ashton became the first woman to win an SRO GT3 Championship since the inspection of the series in 50 years and is the only woman to win a GT3 Championship for Honda Performance Development in their Acura NSX GT3 Evo22.

To date, Ashton currently races full-time in an Acura NSX GT3 Evo22 in the IMSA WeatherTeach Series and the SRO GT World Challenge America series. Consisting of a total of 21 races sponsored by Harrison Contracting Company, PPG Paints and Honda Performance Development (HPD). Ashton is still a Junior Factory Driver for HPD.
